KESS V2 software version 2.23 with firmware version V5.017
KESS 2 Master (Kess II) is the second, latest generation of the professional ECU loader from Alientech. KESS V2 supports all major CAN/J1850/K-LINE protocols and is designed for working with ECUs in cars, motorcycles, and trucks via the diagnostic connector (in very rare cases, the ECU must be removed for reading on a bench). Kess 2 Master holds the record for the number of supported ECUs. It supports the latest ECUs (including those from 2016 vehicles) including EDC17, MEV17, MED17, ACDelco Exx, Delphi DCM 3.7, Siemens Simos 10.x with the new Infеnion Tricore and Renesas processors, and other engine and automatic transmission control units (including Mercedes EGS and VW/AUDI DSG DQ200 and DQ250 series). The vast majority of ECUs can be programmed via the diagnostic connector. Full support for the J1850 protocol is also available, allowing programming of Ford and other vehicles that use J1850 (Ford Vista EECV ECUs, etc.). The device works in conjunction with K-Suitе software. The software interface is very clear and easy to use. Each ECU has a detailed help system and, if required, a desktop connection diagram. Most ECUs support checksum recalculation for the programmed firmware. Boot mode is available for C167/ST10xxx/Tricore TC17xx processors. Kess 2 Master is one of the most reliable and secure bootloaders and features automatic ECU backup and restore. The device also continuously monitors the vehicle's battery charge level and promptly notifies you of any voltage drop. The device can read and write to/from the ECU calibration file or a full flash memory image (where available) – the user's choice. For reading and writing, the baud rate can be manually adjusted for some supported units. The Kess 2 Master bootloader also has a function for reading and clearing errors in some ECUs and a function for resetting the flash memory programming counter for EDC16, EDC17, and MED17 ECUs.
Our device also supports a stock firmware server, which hosts the main stock firmware for VAG and Toyota.
