The J-Link V8 ARM USB-JTAG programmer is designed for in-circuit debugging and programming of systems based on ARM microcontrollers.
In particular, the J-Link V8 ARM USB-JTAG is used to restore the CARPROG programmer when the "try counter" in the device's software has been enabled and the device has become inoperable.
A standard 2x10-pin ARM JTAG connector is provided for connection to the microcontroller. Connection to the computer is via the USB port.
